Description of Services: The mission of Bridget’s Cradles is to comfort grieving families with Christ-centered support and resources after the death of a baby. Bridget’s Cradles provides knitted and crocheted cradles to over 1,400 hospitals in all 50 states so that bereaved families can hold their babies born into Heaven in the second trimester of pregnancy. In addition, Bridget’s Cradles hosts support groups and remembrance events for grieving mothers and couples, both in person (in Wichita, Kansas) and online (called Hope Online). They also organize a community-wide candlelight vigil annually on October 15, Pregnancy and Infant Loss Remembrance Day. Lastly, Bridget’s Cradles founder, Ashley Opliger, hosts a Gospel-focused podcast called Cradled in Hope that releases monthly hope-filled episodes for grieving moms.
