Our Impact

  • We lost our son Elias on May 30th 2023 to Potter's Syndrome. Mikayla and The For You Foundation allowed us so many resources to aid us when we experienced this tremendous loss. We are so grateful and thankful that this foundation exists for families like us.

  • People often say to parents who have lost a child, "I can't imagine", and it's true, you truly can't imagine what it is like until you are in the thick of it and not sure which way is up. That is where my family has found ourselves in these last few months of our lives, in a place we couldn't have imagined. I am so grateful for finding Mikayla, and The For You Foundation. We lost our son right before Christmas unexpectedly and truthfully we've just been trying to survive. A friend sent me an application for the Jaxon Riley Memorial Grant, and it couldn't have come at a better time for us. It helped us catch up on a bill, and it gave us a breath of fresh air for a moment. This foundation means so much to us and my family can't thank TFYF enough for their gratitude!

  • I am so thankful for The For You Foundation. In my greatest time of need, they came to support my family financially. When my sweet son was born, he had an open heart surgery and lived for 44 days. After he passed away, it was very hard for my husband and I to go back to work. We are both self employed and at that time we were unable to continue working for a few months as we were in the thick of our grief. The foundation's support was such a blessing and we are so grateful!

  • When our daughter passed away we were in the middle of trying to move to a new state and my husband and I were both self-employed at the time. Due to the thick of the grief we both were off work for awhile and moving so money was super tight. That’s when I found The For You Foundation and they were able to help us out financially to finally breathe a little easier. We are so unbelievably grateful for the support both financially and emotionally that we have found in Mikayla and her amazing foundation in honor of her son, Jaxon!
